10 Things We Miss About Veronica Mars
Published on June 22, 2015. Updated July 17, 2017There is so much to miss about Veronica Mars. From the well-developed characters to the amazing plot twists, we’re not sure what teen shows can top this. It only ran for three seasons, which seems a bit unfair –shows with way less going on have lasted twice as long. We know that we got a movie out of it, but we really feel like the show should have been renewed for at least two more seasons. That way, we would have gotten the closure that we needed. Since they don’t make shows like they used to, we have rounded up the 10 things that we miss about Veronica Mars.
10. Veronica and Wallace’s Friendship
Veronica and Wallace had a pretty awesome friendship. These two were there for each other through thick and thin and, despite spending all that time together, they never developed warm and fuzzy feelings for each other. They had the perfect platonic friendship.

There were so many mysteries in Veronica Mars. There were smaller ones in each episode, as well as big ones throughout each season, both of which kept viewers intrigued. We’d give anything for one more season with one more gripping mystery!

A number of famous actors and actresses guest starred on Veronica Mars, including Jessica Chastain, Jonathan Bennett, Aaron Paul, Leighton Meester, Alyson Hannigan, Krysten Ritter and Kevin Smith, and they did not disappoint!

Veronica’s dad was pretty awesome. Like her, he was strong willed and refused to let class get in the way of justice. If she got her smarts and her problem solving skills from anywhere, they were obviously from her amazing father.

Veronica Mars was one of the strongest female leads on television. Even though she’s stunning, she wasn’t defined by her looks. Instead she’s defined by her intelligence. She’s clever and witty and a wizard at problem solving. She’s definitely the kind of character that young women can look up to.

Veronica Mars was a teen noir drama, so naturally the tone was pretty dark. In the first episode, as we’re being introduced to the Veronica and the other characters, we find out that her best friend has been murdered and that Veronica was roofied at a party and then raped. Other issues that are explored throughout the show include suicide and pedophilia, and its all done in a really tasteful manner.

Logan was definitely one of the highlights on Veronica Mars. He was only supposed to be a guest star, but he played the role so superbly that he was asked to join the main cast. Logan was one of the more complex characters. He went from being just another high school jerk to being deeply caring. On top of that, he’s also the funniest of Veronica’s love interests. He is the one character who can match her wit.

The storylines in Veronica Mars were full of twists and turns. Each episode had them and every season had several. Viewers never really knew what was going to happen next or how each mystery was going to play out and that’s what differentiated the show from other teen dramas.

Veronica and Logan had this intense chemistry. It didn’t matter whether they were enemies or friends – it was always there. Duncan Kane never really stood a chance. He and Veronica had only a fraction of the chemistry that she and Logan had.

One of the best things about Veronica Mars was the dialogue. It was always clever and witty without being pretentious. It really didn’t matter whether it was Veronica narrating an episode or her conversing with another character – the dialogue was always smart, quick and full of humor and irony.
