8 Things You Didn’t Know About Vanderpump Rules Star Tom Sandoval

Still, there’s so much more to know about him, which is why we have found 8 things that might shed some light on this reality star cutie:
8. Hello Missouri
He’s from the Florissant/Hazelwood area of St. Louis and graduated from Hazelwood West High School. “I’m from North County, which is in St. Louis County, went to a Catholic school then a public school,” he said.
7. A Young Start
Tom started modeling when he was 15-years-old. “I got with an agency in St. Louis and booked my first modeling job,” he said. “I got into it for acting and booked the modeling job with my first headshot and I was like, ‘Woooah, $2,500 and I’m 15 years old, this must be amazing.’”
6. Taking Off
After high school, he moved to Chicago to try to break into acting. “I got signed to this agency in Chicago, I moved to Chicago, took acting classes there, then went to Miami, bounced back and forth from Miami and New York for a while, then moved out to LA.,” he said.
5. Trendsetter
The reality TV star has always been a trendsetter. “I was always the guy that came in with his hair fixed a certain way and all the guys would get jealous and they would talk sh-t about me and then a week later, they would cut their hair just like mine,” he said.
4. Shape Shifter
Tom calls himself a shapeshifter because he can wear anything. “I feel like I can wear anything. I don’t say, “Oh, I can’t wear that”. I’ll wear Ariana’s jewelry sometimes or sweaters, I’ll wear flashy suits, I’ll wear beanies, I’ll wear top hats, just anything!” he said. “Hall & Oates one day, Justin Bieber another day, and Kurt Cobain another day! My closet is just filled with a whole slew of different kinds of clothes.”

3. Vanderpump Rules Casting
The model turned reality TV star was the last person cast for season one of Vanderpump Rules. “It came about because we worked at SUR; well, I was working at Villa Blanca and started working at SUR right then,” he said. “There was initially a bunch of us that were sort of “casted” on the show. I mean, we all knew each other and that’s the one real big difference between our show and a lot of other shows that are casted.”

He isn’t just a pretty face – he’s also really into shows about science, physics and theoretical physics like The Cosmos and How The Universe Works.
1. Club Promoter
Tom told Jezebel that he was a club promoter in Miami for a while, but he quickly realized that it wasn’t his thing. “Oh yeah. I was a club promoter in Miami for a while, and I definitely got to the point where I was like, dude, bottle service f-cking sucks,” he said.
