Cast Of The Big Bang Theory: How Much Are They Worth?

Published on November 11, 2015. Updated August 29, 2016

The cast of The Big Bang Theory is rolling in riches. Monetary. Celebrity. Gossip. Riches upon riches upon riches. Everyone is well aware that the Big 3 from the Big Bang…scored those lucrative raises in 2014 to $1 million per episode, so how is that playing out in the grand scheme of their net worth? Let’s take a look shall we? We won’t dive too far below the surface, and feature co-stars, guest stars and the like, we’ll simply stick to the seven main characters who show up week in, week out, or everyday if you’re a lover of syndication.

7. Melissa Rauch

Estimated Net Worth: $8 million. Every show has to have a cute blonde. Not a hot blonde, but a cute blonde. It seemed Kaley Cuoco was too borderline hot-cute, so they had to add a little more feminine, cute-nerdishness to the cast. Enter Melissa Rauch, who has been in the mix for several seasons (since 2009), and has parlayed her time into lucrative financial achievement. In regular folk speak…she’s rich. Melissa got her start in comedy as a stand-up comedienne, and her ability to develop various characters and superior comedic time has worked out well. As it stands, Melissa has a reported net worth of over $8 million, and that total is growing. We have no insight as to her investment savvy, but we imagine a self starter who found her way into stand-up while she was a student in college has a good head on her shoulders.

6. Mayim Bialik

Estimated Net Worth: $12 million. She made her first millions as a teenager playing the titular role on Blossom, then she hopped around in smaller roles, enjoying life with an elite education from UCLA and a perfect guest starring role on Fat Actress before she was rediscovered by the masses as Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler on The Big Bang Theory. As it stands, Mayim makes a cool $75,000 per episode on the show, and that helps boost her net worth week to week in an impressive fashion. Mayim has a reported net worth of over $12 million, though we’re guessing it’s more. She has a PhD, she’s been published, and enjoys residuals from several jobs in the past and probably has her hands all over some “above the line” entertainment business. We’re certainly not discounting a cool $12 million, but we have to believe that’s a low estimate.

5. Simon Helberg

Estimated Net Worth: $24 million. We’re climbing the mountain of Big Bang…riches, and up next: Simon Helberg. Simon plays the lovable Howard Wolowitz, and he has enjoyed being a member of the cast from the get-go. Simon wasn’t able to score the million dollar payday that Kaley, Johnny and Jim were, but he’s doing alright for himself, and he’s incredibly cherished by his agent. Simon scores $800,000 per episode, which is probably like, $560,000 after taxes, meaning he’s a really, really rich dude. No, he hasn’t always made that phat cash, but the past couple years have helped ramp his estimated net worth to an impressive $24 million. Simon won’t turn 35 until December of 2015, so he’s doing just fine for himself. And knowing this show will run forever in syndication, Simon could invest wisely and never have to work again if he didn’t want to.

4. Kunal Nayyar

Estimated Net Worth: $25 million. Kunal Nayyar is one of the coolest dudes on the planet. Seriously. Born in London, and raised in India, he hopped to the United States for his collegiate studies, and focused on business. After satisfying his degree requirements, he jumped from the the west coast (Portland, OR) to the east coast (Philadelphia, PA) to pursue a Masters of Fine Arts in acting from Temple University. It took little time for Kunal to establish himself as a competitor in the entertainment industry, able to draw from his Indian heritage, and deliver some quality comedy rooted in stereotype. Kunal is another of the original cast members who has enjoyed the long run on Big Bang…His estimated net worth is now at $25 million, and like his co-star, Simon Helberg, he draws a quantitative $800,000 per episode.

3. Kaley Cuoco

Estimated Net Worth: $45 million. The sweet Kaley Cuoco is no longer Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting. It has been a roller coaster ride for Kaley over the past 18 months. She signed the deal to score $1 million per episode and was enjoying her young marriage to tennis pro Ryan Sweeting until recently when the marital problems came. We can’t talk about Kaley’s net worth without addressing the fact that Ryan is allegedly asking for part of it as part of their divorce settlement. Clearly, we know who was living off who in this scenario. How much could she possibly be worth? Try $45 million. This is a can of worms we can’t crack open all the way for this list, but keep your eyes peeled for seven ways Ryan Sweeting is a total jerk face.

Matt Baron

2. Johnny Galecki

Estimated Net Worth: $40 million. Johnny Galecki has been acting for a long time, and he’s very good at what he does. He has acted in TV shows and movies, and makes good money for doing so. Everyone in the world knows he’s making his million per episode on Big Bang…but what is he worth at age 40? How about $40 million? Like Mayim Bialik, we’re guessing this is a low estimate. Johnny has been involved in the business for over 25 years, and he’s still scraping residual checks from shows like Roseanne, and movies like Suicide Kings. In terms of what he has made on Big Bang Theory alone, the total has to be close to $20 million. There’s something about Johnny off-screen that makes him one of those guys everyone can be happy for. He avoided the pitfalls of child acting, and has remained so very cool for two-plus decades.

1. Jim Parsons

Estimated Net Worth: $50 million. Jim Parsons went from the small, yet memorable role in Zach Braff’s Garden State to the iconic Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory. He’s scraped the cream from the career crop since 2007. Jim has won the biggest of awards for his portrayal of the genius, socially inept Cooper, and he has scored a cool payment plan of $1 million per episode. It is true that Johnny Galecki passed on this role in favor of Leonard, and that’s the way it goes in the strange and fickle world of entertainment. Jim has enjoyed a few endorsement deals to go along with his Big Bang…salary, and his estimated net worth presently hovers somewhere near $50 million. Not. Too. Shabby. What’s next for the 42 year old actor? More Big Bang…of course, and principal role in the thriller, Visions, set for a 2016 release.
