This year, there have been a surprising number of celebrity feuds. From rappers to reality TV stars to A-list celebrities, here are the 13 most shocking celebrity feuds to rock the entertainment world in 2018:

13. Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb

Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb broke up more than four years ago, but he’s been trying to sue her for the past three years for custody of the embryos that they had frozen during their relationship. In 2018, he continued to fight Vergara for custody of the embryos and moved the lawsuit to the state of Louisiana where embryos are recognized as human beings. At this point, the Modern Family star feels that Loeb is doing this to ruin her marriage to Joe Manganiello.

12. Lala Kent and Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence made herself an enemy when she called Vanderpump Rules starlet Lala Kent the c-word on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. In response, Kent went on Heather McDonald’s “Juicy Scoop” podcast and said that Lawrence was the type of chick to have sex with disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. The feud ended after this when the Oscar-winning actress apologized and Kent accepted her apology.

11. Farrah Abraham and Drita D’Avanzo

Farrah Abraham and Drita D’Avanzo’s feud started after the two co-hosted the opening bash for a strip club in Atlantic City. The former Teen Mom OG star took to Instagram to accuse the Mob Wives star of being unprofessional and a “has been.” D’Avanzo didn’t take it so well. She threatened to “open hand smack the f— out of” Abraham and then invited her to participate in a celebrity boxing match. Abraham reportedly agreed and then backed out and instead chose to do a celebrity boxing match with Flavor of Love’s Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander. According to the former MTV star, she didn’t chicken out of the fight. “I’m not in charge of what the company of the celebrity boxing matches choose. Glad the bullies will have fun paying to watch a champion win. Sorry sponsors do not want bullies for [an] anti-bully celebrity boxing match. She wasn’t chosen since she was a bully, and I’m excited and have my daughter involved and other kids in youth boxing classes, [it’s] great,” Abraham told Us Weekly.

10. Kim Kardashian and Rhymefest

In May, Rhymefest attacked Kanye West for abandoning the Chicago charity Donda’s House, which he had started with his mother, and this didn’t sit well with his wife, Kim Kardashian. She fired back at him on Twitter. “U haven’t been right since u got kicked out of the studio in Hawaii wearing fake Yeezy’s,” she wrote. “You’re over [leveraging] Kanye’s name & asked Kanye to donate money to u so stop w your fake community politics & lies. Truth is you haven’t been able to sustain the foundation.” In response, Rhymefest released a statement, which in part read, “I encourage you instead of attacking me personally, to Google us, watch the videos on our YouTube channel featuring our work and come actually speak to the young people who have actually been involved in our program before you, in your position of privilege from God knows where in the world, via social media attempt to dismantle this valued community asset.”

9. Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly

There’s been bad blood between Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem since 2012 when he tweeted that Eminem’s daughter Hailie, who was 16 years old at the time, was “hot as f—,” but the feud definitely reached new heights in 2018. Eminem threw the first punch with his song “Not Alike.” He took Kelly to task for the comments he made about Hailie. In response, Kelly, released “Rap Devil” and then Eminem released “Killshot,” which became the highest charting single since 2013 and the biggest hip-hop debut in YouTube history. Since Kelly released “Binge,” the feud has gone quiet.

8. Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush

Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray ended their marriage in 2006, but in 2018, their relationship made the news again when Bush gave an interview where she alleged that she didn’t want to marry her One Tree Hill co-star, but felt pressured to do so by her bosses on the show. This didn’t sit well with Murray and he responded through his publicist and on Twitter. “Do u know what I do every morning? Wake in my loving family’s embrace, make coffee & breakfast 4 the kiddos with my wife. Read 1-2 chapters in the Bible 2 start the day off right. Then we plan how 2 fill the day with love 4 my family & brethren. It’s so simple yet so fulfilling,” he tweeted. Bush then called him out on Twitter. “If you DON’T answer the question, you’re ‘clearly still bothered.’ If you DO (barely) answer the question — while making fun of yourself btw — you “obviously can’t let it go.” Gee isn’t it fun being a lady?!”

7. Nicki Minaj and Cardi B

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B were already feuding before their physical altercation during New York Fashion Week. According to Cardi, things got physical between the two because the “Anaconda” rapper had liked a comment on social media about Cardi’s parenting skills, but Minaj has denied this. After this, Cardi’s sister alleged that Minaj leaked Cardi’s phone number, which the rapper also died. They have since called a truce.

6. Britany Spears and Kevin Federline

Britney Spears has been doing quite well for herself, especially with her super successful Las Vegas residency, which grossed more than $137 million during its four-year run. In February, her ex, Kevin Federline, asked for an increase in his child support since he hadn’t had any increase in years, which didn’t sit well with the pop star. She felt like she was already paying for everything, so there was no need for an increase. Spears’ dad offered Federline a $10,000 increase in child support, but his lawyer rejected it. The two ended up quietly settling the matter, but it was reported that Spears wasn’t happy about the outcome.

5. Pusha T and Drake

Pusha T and Drake’s drama blew up this past summer. It all began with Pusha releasing the song Infrared, which included some Drake disses and then the Canadian rapper responded less than 24 hours later with the single“Duppy Freestyle.” After this, the war was on. Pusha waited a few days and then released the track “The Story of Adidon,” which outed Drake for secretly fathering a kid with a porn star. While Drake tried to get dirt on Pusha’s personal life, he wasn’t successful and a month later he confirmed that the news – he had a secret son named Adonis. The feud is now over and Pusha claims that he won.

4. Thomas Markle and the Royal Family

Thomas Markle has been on the outs with the royal family and his daughter Meghan ever since he started giving paid interviews following the royal wedding. In these interviews, he’s divulged personal conversations that he had with Prince Harry and Meghan and he’s also trashed the royal family for freezing him out, comparing them to Scientologists. The royal family has yet to publicly respond to Thomas and it’s still unclear whether the rift with his daughter can be healed.

3. Vanessa Marcil and Brian Austin Green

According to Vanessa Marcil, she and her ex Brian Austin Green have been feuding behind the scenes for years, but she only recently opened up about it on Instagram, claiming that Meghan Fox and Green tried to fight her for custody of Kassius in 2006 and then, when that failed, they reportedly tried to get Marcil to pay them child support. Since then, Green and Fox have allegedly cut Kassius out of their lives. “Kass no longer has a bedroom at their house starting 5 years ago,” she wrote. “He hasn’t ever seen Megan again or met his youngest brother. He’s not allowed to know where they live anymore. Isn’t invited to see them on holidays. Not even Father’s Day. They threw out his entire room and gave away his cat without Kass knowing.” Fox and Green have yet to comment on Marcil’s allegations.

2. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been locked in a nasty custody battle since 2016 when Jolie abruptly filed for divorce following an incident on a private plane that involved her eldest son Maddox and Pitt. As of 2018, the couple isn’t close to being divorced and the nasty custody battle has continued to rage on. In August, the Oscar-winning actress alleged in a court filing that Pitt had not paid “meaningful child support since separation.” Pitt fired back that he had already paid Jolie $9 million in child support, but Jolie’s lawyer quickly pointed out that $8 million of that was a loan to buy the house that she and the children currently live in. Sources close to Pitt are claiming that his relationship with the three boys is strained because of Jolie and a judge has reportedly issued a report criticizing her for not allowing the children to properly interact with their father. Who knows when these two will finally settle their contentious divorce and custody battle.

Samantha Markle has been going after her half-sister Meghan ever since news broke that she was dating Prince Harry. Since the royal wedding and Meghan and her father’s estrangement, Samantha’s attacks have intensified. She’s referred to the former Suits star as “Cruella de Vil,” “arrogant and ignorant,” and Duchess of Nonsense,” and is writing a book about her called Shadows of the Duchess. It’s a pretty one-sided feud because Meghan has never responded to anything that Samantha, but that has done nothing to cool down Samantha’s negative feelings towards her sister.
