9. Fans Are Angry About Nick And Sally
If Nick and Sally want to win over Y&R viewers, they have their work cut out for them. Fans are sounding off about the lack of build-up for the burgeoning couple, with many lamenting the way their hook-up has left Adam wandering aimlessly. Audiences are also underwhelmed to see Nick and Adam back on each other’s enemies list, just when they were gaining some kind of brotherly respect for each other. Y&R had a good thing going with Sally and Adam, so here’s hoping the soap’s writers have a game plan to make things right!

7. Camryn Grimes’ Disney Collab
Disney fanatic Camryn Grimes is teasing some sort of collaboration with the mouse-eared entertainment giant. “As a lifelong Disney fan, this weekend was a literal dream come true for me,” Grimes enthused about Disney’s fan expo on Instagram. “While I can’t reveal all just yet, I’m so excited for this journey and what’s to come.” In a possibly related post from back in August, Grimes shared a photo of herself in front of a billboard for Disney Channel’s new cartoon Hansel & Gretel. “Feelin kinda villainous,” she wrote in the caption alongside a winking emoji.

Y&R viewers who follow their favorite daytime stars can’t help but come away with one consistent impression: Greg Rikaart (Kevin) must be the loveliest person alive! Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) posted a photo of herself with Rikaart in her Instagram stories, writing “Love being with my Greggy” in the caption. Just a day prior to that, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) also made an Instagram post featuring Rikaart, although the circumstances were slightly less innocent. Apparently, the actor had stolen Stafford’s phone and recorded a greeting, which apparently isn’t unusual behavior! “No phone is safe with Greg Rikaart,” Stafford warned.

5. Tragic Loss For The Vilasusos
Jordi and Kaitlin Vilasuso returned to their podcast Making It Work with some tragic news. “We’ve, unfortunately, experienced another loss,” the couple shared on Instagram. Although the Y&R alum and his wife are mourning the loss of their unborn baby, they want to share their perspective on this taboo subject. If they can help others navigate this difficult period, the couple hopes “the two little lives that didn’t come to be will be filled with purpose and will perhaps even bring some healing to someone else’s pain”. The podcast can be listened to here.

Michael Graziadei is returning to Y&R this fall, according to Soap Opera Digest! The actor, who last portrayed Daniel Romalotti way back in 2016, will make his long-awaited return to Genoa City at an unspecified date. This will be the star’s first appearance since the birth of his twins last September. 3. Stafford’s Celebration x 3
Speaking of Stafford, the Y&R icon just celebrated her 57th birthday with no less than three celebrations, which were all captured in a video montage on Instagram. “It was an AMAZING birthday week with 3 celebrations!” Stafford wrote in the caption. “I am happy to be another year wiser. Thank you all for the birthday wishes and love.” Amongst the friends and family, viewers can also catch a glimpse of Christian LeBlanc; much like their on-screen characters, they really are great friends!

2. Eric Braeden’s Royal Rumble
News of the Queen’s passing pushed Eric Braeden to his breaking point last week, when he tweeted out his disdain for the media’s round-the-clock coverage. “Could there possibly be anymore genuflecting by the media about QE2?” Braeden asked on Twitter. “It’s becoming KITSCH!” The Y&R star’s comment rubbed many fans the wrong way, causing an ongoing back-and-forth argument about the monarchy. “This is AMERICA!” Braeden doubled down in a subsequent tweet. “We don’t need to see this morning, noon and night!” The star also insisted that the Queen’s passing had “absolutely NO geopolitical consequence” and that the media shouldn’t “constantly imbue her passing with enormous importance”. Yikes!

1. Sean Kanan “Flattered” By Crossover Appearance
The crossover fun begins this week as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) confronts her conman ex-hubby, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). And for both actors, the reunion has been a blast. In a recent interview with People, Kanan elaborated on the opportunity to reconnect with Genoa City’s finest. “It’s always flattering and fun when you get to go work with another group of actors,” Kanan remarked. Also, don’t miss the actor’s “great little ad lib” this week when Deacon remarks, ‘Oh, Nick. One more thing: You look good.” It wasn’t in the script, but Kanan couldn’t help himself!
