Winona Ryder hasn’t aged a day since the ‘90s and according to her makeup artist, Kim Collea, that’s because she eats a lot of salad and drinks lots of water. “She is a very healthy eater, and I think that is a big part of it,” Collea said. “It sounds boring, but the girl eats a lot of salads. And you know those giant Big Gulps cups that most people fill with soda? She’s got hers filled with water.”

Charlize Theron credits her use of sun block for her lack of aging. “I’m a massive believer in sunblock. Massive. I wear sunblock in the winter, when it’s rainy and gray out – all the time. And not just SPF 15; I wear 50. Five-zero! It’s a huge part of my moisturizing routine,” the actress told Elle.

Demi Moore swears that removing makeup each night and constant moisturizing are the reason for her youthful appearance. “My skin is very sensitive, so I use only fragrance-free, simple, pure products. And I moisturize, moisturize, moisturize – that’s the most important lesson my mother passed on to me, and I say it to my daughters all the time,” she told Allure. “No matter how late of a night it is, when I get home, I take the time to clean and moisturize my face. I’m a big believer in that if you focus on good skin care, your skin will be balanced, and then you really won’t need a lot of makeup.”

According to Heidi Klum, the secret to aging well is to make sure that you don’t get too thin. “The ultimate beauty secret for a woman getting older is: Don’t be too thin!” she said. “When you are just muscle, you end up being gaunt in the face, and that makes you look older by 5 or 10 years.”

Jennifer Aniston has been blessed with great genetics, so aging isn’t such a big deal for her, but to keep her skin looking fresh she drinks lots and lots of water. “But it’s also just water, drinking a lot of water, using really nice, good products for your face. Don’t over-product, that’s the other thing. Getting proper sleep is always important,” she told Elle.
