Country Music Awards 2017: 7 Best-Dressed Stars
Published on November 9, 2017.With last night’s Country Music Awards leading us into red carpet season, the celebrities of Hollywood should take a note or two about fashion from the country music stars! Although the CMAs have a reputation for out of the box and shocking fashion moments, this year saw quite a few outstanding gowns that dazzled us and definitely turned a few heads and, luckily, for all the right reasons! There were a few worst- dressed moments, but fortunately even more best-dressed! Follow along for 7 of the most well-dressed stars from last nights CMA Awards:
7. Faith Hill
Faith Hill looked positively stunning last night in a sparkling black number that featured an extravagant shoulder detail. Typically looks like this seem a little overwhelming, but Hill clearly thought this through by pulling her hair up into a high bun for minimal distraction around the shoulders. The cut of the dress flattered her slender figure and the lace detailing along the bust added even more intricacy into this garment. She topped her look with a red pout, sparkling sapphire earrings and a matching ring.

Lea Michele took a huge risk with this sassy Zuhair Murad design! Luckily, it totally paid off and she looked gorgeous! The intricate dress featured feathers along the waist and arms and sheerness in all the right places. Instead of a long ballgown as many opted for, Lea showed off her legs with the short hemline and even more so with the strappy black stilettos. She sleeked her hair back in a low bun to show off her enviable cheekbones and gorgeous glowy makeup.

Showing up as a group to the CMAs is definitely quite the feat. Not only do you have to worry about what you’re wearing, but you also have to ensure you look just as great standing next to your band members. Luckily, Lady Antebellum was up to the challenge and coordinated flawlessly and in a subtle way. Hillary Scott wore a velvet dress that incorporated shades of red, black and tan which picked up perfectly on Dave Haywood’s red suit and Charles Kelley’s patterned top.

Jessie James Decker runs her own clothing line so we definitely had high expectations for her to shine at the CMAs. Even though Jessie had limited options while being pregnant, this star looked absolutely stunning! The faded red color of her dress picked up perfectly on her tanned complexion. The off-the-shoulder neckline of the dress showed just the right amount of skin and the form-fitting shape showed off her adorable baby bump. She pulled her sunkissed waves into a glamorous ponytail and topped the look with elegant drop-style earrings.

Kelsea Ballerini is a natural beauty who could seemingly pull off anything, but her CMA look this year was on the next level! The blonde bombshell wore a custom Michael Kors Collection gown in a crisp white shade that was covered with golden floral appliques. The dress was long sleeve, hugged her body in all the right places and had the perfect cutout in the center of the bodice. She allowed her hair to flow over her shoulder in retro waves and skipped on the jewelry to allow the gorgeous embellishment to truly steal the show.

It’s rare that both singers of a duo look perfect on the red carpet, but Maddie and Tae have proved it’s totally possible! Although both their looks were quite different, each of these ladies looked absolutely stunning in their own way. Tae Dye looked red hot in a floor-length number with cutouts in all the right places and a flattering slit. She paired the look with natural waves and gold jewelry. Her partner Maddie Marlow wore a black lace gown that was sultry yet totally sophisticated. She topped the look with stunning chandelier style earrings and sleeked her hair back behind her back.

Carrie Underwood totally stole the show last night in her structured, cobalt blue design. The mermaid style silhouette completely dazzled the crowds and looked perfect with her blonde waves and fair skin tone. The dramatic design looked ultra high fashion and the ruffles fell in all the right places to flatter her figure. She paired the look with statement earrings and a matching ring but skipped out on a necklace to truly show off the gorgeous cut of this unique gown.
