A Mini Back To The Future Reunion Happened At A Fan Convention

This weekend was a blast to the past for four Back to the Future stars who were reunited for a fan convention!

Michael J. Fox, Thomas Wilson, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson were all in attendance on Friday, August 10 for the Fan Expo Boston where they signed autographs, had a panel discussion about the iconic film franchise, and even posed for some photographs together which they shared on social media.

“Four old friends get back from the future,” Thompson, 57, who played Marty McFly’s mother Lorraine, wrote alongside a shot of the four stars smiling together.

Tom Wilson, who played Biff Tannen, posted the same image with the caption, “Wow. This just happened.”

79-year-old Lloyd who of course played Doc Brown added that “This was special,” about the mini reunion of co-stars.

Naturally, with all of the reboots and remakes taking over films and television right now, the stars were asked about whether or not there would be another Back to the Future film on the way. Wilson replied with, “Basically, I think America is saying, ‘Come on they’ve wrecked every other franchise with bad sequels, why not this one?  C’mon, we would watch it until it sucks.”

Meanwhile Michael J. Fox opened up about how much his life changed after its release, stating that his “life was just a blur” because he was juggling the lead role of Marty McFly with a starring role on the sitcom Family Ties. “When the movie came out, it shocked me ’cause I had no idea what it was going to be,” he added, “because I had no chance to live with it. It just happened overnight.”
