On Monday, Jan. 5 the news broke that the body of country singer Craig Strickland had been found, more than a week since he went missing while on a duck hunting trip and days after the body of his friend Chase Morland was discovered.

Amid the tragic news, Strickland’s band took to their Facebook to share with their fans their last music video with Strickland for their song “Torn.” “Last year we shot a music video for our song, Torn,” the band posted along with the video. “We wanted to finally release the video and share with everyone so you could have a chance to see Craig doing what he loved. We are so proud of how it turned out, and we know Craig was too.”

Following the news his body had been found, the band posted a message, stating, “Today we lost our brother, our best friend, our bandmate. Craig was the most amazing person whose passion for life couldn’t be matched.”

After his body was found, Strickland’s wife Helen took to her Instagram to reveal Craig had made his way out of the water after his boat capsized and a climbed a hill before being overtaken by hypothermia. She has since shared pictures with Strickland’s dog Sam who survived the storm and was found along with Morland’s body, as well as heartbreaking videos of her late husband.
