Many were worried about The Bachelor‘s Peter Weber, and the future of his season on Tuesday, October 8 after it was revealed that the season 24 lead suffered a “serious” facial injury.

Reports revealed that Weber was rushed to the hospital in Costa Rica where he was filming part of his season after he cut his face on two glasses he was carrying when he slipped and required surgery and 22 stitches.

Luckily, it seems Weber is going to be okay, and has already resumed production! “He got a cut on his head,” Bachelor Nation host Chris Harrison told Entertainment Tonight of what he called a “freak accident.”

“He did get stitches but he’s 100% OK and production is already back underway,” he added. “He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of.”

“It’s not as bad as what is being reported!” another insider said about the incident.

On Tuesday, Radar Online reported that the incident happened while Peter was on a golf course. “He went to step on the cart but fell and and split his face open on two cocktail glasses he was carrying,” a source told the outlet. The source revealed “everyone is worried about production,” as “all the women were flying in for a filming today.”

According to Reality Steve, Peter traveled to Costa Rica to film part of the season after narrowing down his contestants to only 12 women in his search for love.

“I have truly, my entire life, looked forward to finding my girl, and that first person that I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with,” Weber said after he was announced as the next Bachelor. “I have all the faith in the world that this can work for me, and I know it’s going to.”
