David Eason Is “Much Happier” Following His Split From ‘Teen Mom 2’ Alum Jenelle Evans
Published on November 21, 2019.After former Teen Mom 2 star, Jenelle Evans, obtained her temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, David Eason addressed the matter and shared that he never loved Evans and is “much happier” without her in his life.
Eason shared an update on his personal life to Facebook, “Glad [you] people think I am taking this so hard. Just so [you] all know I am so very much happier and so is Maryssa! Finally peaceful!”
He also commented, “I’m not heart broken. I’ve realized I wasn’t in love and there are much better people out there for me.”
Evans and Eason have a 2-year-old daughter Ensley, and shared custody of Jenelle’s son 5-year-old Kaiser Griffith. Maryssa is Eason’s 12-year-old daughter from his previous marriage. In October, Evans posted on Instagram about how she and the kids left Eason and moved out of their home for a fresh start.
Evans’ original restraining order included allegations of abuse against Eason. “Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children’s well-being,” Evans said.
“The protection order awarded temporary custody to Jenelle, mandated that David will have no contact with Jenelle or the children and will not post about her on the internet,” as reported by E! News.
Both Evans and Eason have adapted to their new life without the other. Furthermore, a source told E! News that Evans is “doing really well now that she is away from David and North Carolina.”
“The kids are not just fine. They are thriving,” the source added. “It is an atrocity what they have all been through.”
