Animal prints such as snakeskin and cheetah print have been everywhere this year when it comes to fashion but rarely do we see these experimental prints make their way onto the red carpet. Until now, that is!

Anne Hathaway stepped out onto the 2019 Golden Globes red carpet this year looking as fierce as ever in this floor-length cheetah print gown. Typically we’d think that a full animal print dress would come across tacky and wouldn’t have a place on a classy red carpet, but Hathaway proved otherwise! We think she looks totally elegant and that she perfectly styled the edgy trend in the most polished way possible.

The bold Ellie Saab look featured a sequined texture, metallic detailing along the bodice, and a slight bateau neckline. To add a touch of sultriness, the dress also featured a thigh-high slit that showed the perfect amount of skin. For her beauty look, Hathaway sleeked her hair back behind her ears to show off her sculptural diamond earrings and rocked a gunmetal smoky eye.

We have to admit, this is likely one of Hathaway’s riskiest looks yet! It combined a trendy print, with a high slit, but she still looks as polished as ever and she pulled it off perfectly.

What do you think of Hathaway’s cheetah print look tonight?
