In the time since waking up from his coma, former NBA star Lamar Odom has made significant improvements in his health in what was initially a dire situation.

While he had been getting better, sources were quick to state “he wasn’t out of the woods yet” and would need a lot of therapy and rehab to get back to a normal life and one of the biggest concerns were for his organs which suffered a lot of damage after his overdose.

Now, TMZ is reporting he has made a huge turnaround and will be coming off of his 6 hours of daily dialysis and will not need a kidney transplant after all. Doctors had allegedly told Odom his kidney problems were so bad they were life-threatening and they cannot believe how well he has responded to the dialysis.

Meanwhile, as Khloe Kardashian revealed earlier in the week just because she and Odom called off their divorce it does not mean they are together, and to seemingly prove her point she traveled to Houston on Thursday, Oct. 29 to watch her reported boyfriend James Harden play basketball. In her exclusive People interview in which she opened up about Lamar, Khloe reportedly also spoke out about her relationship with Harden and how it is has been affected over the past couple of weeks. “He’s been great with me, and I’m just allowing everything to unfold. If it’s ever too overwhelming [for him], then I understand that as well.”
