Mackenzie Standifer Returns To Instagram As Husband Ryan Edwards Remains In Jail

As Teen Mom OG‘s Ryan Edwards remains in jail following his most recent arrest, his pregnant wife Mackenzie Standifer took to Instagram to share a new baby bump photo with an interesting caption on Saturday, July 28.

“She has a kind soul, but a cold [heart],” she captioned the black-and-white photo, and added, “Edit: This isn’t a new revelation, I’ve always been the ice queen.”

Although she called herself the “ice queen” Mackenzie has yet to comment on her husband’s arrest on Monday, July 23 in Tennessee for “Simple Possession of Heroin and is currently being held in the Hamilton County jail under a No Bond.” While Edwards remains in jail, he is reportedly scheduled to appear in court on Monday, August 6.

Prior to his July 23rd arrest, Edwards spent 21 days in rehab last year after admitting to having a drug problem, with his drug of choice being heroin. He was then arrested in March 2018 in relation to  a previous heroin possession charge and for violating his probation.

Just days before his most recent arrest, Edwards and his wife announced that they were leaving Teen Mom OG, claiming that MTV didn’t “want to show Ryan as a recovering addict,” although after his arrest days later, many are questioning if Ryan is still using.

Of course, Ryan and Mackenzie’s exit isn’t the only cast shakeup for the show. After Farrah Abraham’s exit, MTV confirmed last week they had replaced Abraham with Bristol Palin, and The Ashley reports that The Challenge star Cheyenne Floyd will also be joining the show as the fifth mom.
