New Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. And Courtney Robertson Were Dating “Until A Few Months Ago”
Published on September 8, 2017.Despite Arie Luyendyk Jr. disappearing from the Bachelor franchise after being Emily Maynard’s runner-up in 2012, it seems he continued pursuing singles who also appeared on Bachelor nation during his time off-screen!
“Courtney Robertson was still dating Arie on and off up until a few months ago,” a source told Us Weekly. Robertson won Ben Flajnik’s season 16 of The Bachelor in 2012 but the two later announced their split. The source added, “Arie still races and does real estate on his off season. Courtney got him into real estate!”
It was revealed that being in close proximity of each other is one of the biggest factors that kept their relationship afloat. Luyendyk Jr. and Robertson dated briefly in 2012 after her split from Flajnik and have been on and off since. “Courtney has been living in Arizona for a year. She’s doing real estate in Scottsdale and pretty happy, she’s near her family,” the source revealed. “Arie is based out of Arizona but still travels/races a lot.”
The convenience of living in close quarters wasn’t enough to keep the relationship going however and Arie’s unpredictable racing schedule caused conflict. “That was part of the problem for Courtney with Arie: he will never stay in one place,” says the source. “But Courtney ultimately knew that it would never work out with Arie.”
Hopefully this duo’s relationship is put to rest for good to ensure a clean slate for Arie with his upcoming role on The Bachelor!
