New Teen Mom OG Star Bristol Palin Confirms Divorce From Dakota Meyer

Bristol Palin has confirmed she is officially a single woman again, and is ready to share her single mom story with viewers as the newest cast member of Teen Mom OG.

The 27-year-old made the revelation about her divorce from Dakota Meyer on Wednesday, August 1 while answering questions from fans on her Instagram Stories. When asked if she was dating again, Palin replied, “Freshly divorced & single forever lezzbereal (I am not ready to date,” and posted a photo of her self with her 9-year-old son Tripp at Disneyland.

Many will remember the drama surrounding Palin and Meyer’s relationship who share children Sailor Grace,2, and Atlee Bay, 14 months, together. After a called off wedding and a lot of drama the pair finally wed in 2016 but in February, 2018  after less than two years of marriage, Meyer filed for divorce citing “discord or conflict of personalities.”

Palin also added in her Q&A that the last thing she is thinking about right now is a romantic relationship. “Honestly (right this SECOND) no… my focus is on God & my kids… a relationship/guy isn’t even close on my radar.”

As for whether she would ever have more children, the mom of three wrote, “I love babies, and love kids but I think I’m done having my own! I’d adopt if I was in the right place for sure.”

Of course, Palin has a lot of other things to focus on after she confirmed in July that she was joining the cast of Teen Mom OG after the exit of Farrah Abraham. “I am excited to join MTV’s ‘Teen Mom OG.’ I look forward to sharing my experiences and hope that I can help others on their journey,” she captioned the post. Although Palin certainly isn’t a teen mom now, she did make waves back in 2008 when she became pregnant at 17 with her first son, Tripp.
