Pippa Middleton Weighs In On Kim K’s Booty

Pippa Middleton may not be as famous as her royal sister the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, but she did gain some time in the spotlight after turning heads as maid of honor at Kate and William’s royal wedding.

However in a new post she wrote for The Spectator’s Christmas Special, it is not her own famous booty that Kate discusses.

In the post titled, “Winter Diary,” Pippa tells stories of “truffle hunting”, passing her wine exam, trying her hand at “western dancing” in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and ends the whole thing with a “bottom story”, literally.

She takes the time to question America’s “booty culture” as well as comments that she doesn’t think Kim Kardashian is “going the right away about it” in terms of breaking the internet.

“No year is complete without a bottom story, and the ‘Rear of 2014’ award undoubtedly goes to Kim Kardashian, after her posterior exploded all over the internet last month,” the royal sibling wrote.

“I must say that mine- though it has enjoyed fleeting fame- is not comparable. But the Kim butt story did make me pause. What is it with this American booty culture? It seems to me to be a form of obsession. Kim’s aim, apparently, was to break in the internet, but I’m not sure she’s going the right way about it.”

While the post is sort of a slam at Kardashian, Middleton does have a point and it is not surprising that she was offended by it, as we are all learning (especially Lebron James) the royals have a different sort of courtesy.

James unknowingly broke royal protocol by wrapping his arm around Kate Middleton for a photo, an incident that has received substantial backlash from royal etiquette watchers.
