What started out as a one off episode on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant has become a lifelong journey for four of the girls who are now entering their seventh season as the stars of Teen Mom OG.

Since 2009, Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, Catelynn Baltierra and Amber Portwood have shared their story with fans as they went from teenage mothers to young women building their personal and professional lives. Now, the four women are sharing sweet messages to their now 8-year-olds who are half the age their mothers were when they starred on 16 and Pregnant.

The sweet video includes messages from Amber Portwood to her daughter Leah, whom she shares with her ex-fiance Gary Shirley. “Hi, Booger Butt! When you sit there and you say to Mommy, ‘I wanna be this one day and I wanna be that one day,’ it’s never anything small. It’s president. You wanna be an astronaut. I know you’re going to do big things,” Portwood said before getting much more emotional. “I put myself in a hard situation because I wasn’t there for you, and I’ll explain that to you later. But you’re never gonna mess up like I did. I will make sure of that.”

Abraham also got emotional in her message to her daughter Sophia, who she had with her late boyfriend, Derek Underwood. “I’m just seriously thankful that you have helped me to become the best mom that I can be. It makes my heart proud…There’s a big world out there, and who knows what you’re going to grow up to be.”

Maci Bookout, now a mom of three, started her journey when welcoming son Bentley with her ex-fiance Ryan Edwards. “Bentley, your first day of kindergarten killed me. I was so excited for you, but it was quite emotional for because you’re my baby, and you weren’t my baby anymore.”

Meanwhile Catelynn Baltierra, who along with her now husband Tyler Baltierra, gave up their daughter Carly for adoption on their 16 and Pregnant episode, shared a message instead for their 2-year-old daughter Nova. “Don’t make me a grandma!” she joked, adding, “Just kidding. You can make me a grandma, but just…I have to be old!”

Teen Mom OG season 7 premieres Monday, April 17 at 9 p.m.
