Get ready to board a season full of contestants vying for Peter’s love, plenty of dates, emotions running high, and Hannah Brown’s inevitable return to the show! The Bachelor spoiler king Reality Steve has all the details and breaks down what will be happening this week on The Bachelor. Here are all the most significant spoilers for the three-hour premiere of The Bachelor:
A Flash Forward Of The Final Rose Ceremony
While we’re not aware of when the final rose ceremony will take place, on Monday’s episode of The Bachelor, fans will get a flash-forward of the scene. They will see Chris Harisson comes up to Peter and say, “Before you do what you’re about to do, there is something you should know… something I just found out, all of us just found out… I’m not sure how this all ends, so I just wanted to give you a heads up.”
Peter then looks visibly confused and flustered about the situation as he walks around, not knowing what he should do next. He then says to Harrison, “[I] feel like I’m going to pass out right now.” Then we’ll see a clip of him, in his final rose ceremony outfit, laying down on a bed with the production crew surrounding him. He then says, “It’s just like the last thing I needed to hear.”
Chris Harrison Says This Season Is One “You’ve Never Seen Before”
After Peter’s final rose ceremony breakdown, the following clip with Harrison appears, and he says, “This season of The Bachelor is an unbelievable journey like you’ve never seen before.” Fans will get a sneak peek at what’s to come with a preview showing typical Bachelor moments like plenty of tears, dates, and so on. However, there are a few scenes that do stick out.
Victoria Ousts A Contestant’s Secret
There’s a scene in the preview that sticks out the most, being contestant Victoria talking about another contestant. Reality Steve has confirmed that she is talking about Madison.
In the interview with the production team, she says, “I can’t believe she waited this long to tell him she’s a virgin.”
Peter’s Mom Begs Him Not To Let Someone Go
In the season preview, especially the last 20 seconds, there’s a clip of Peter’s mother, Barbara, crying while her voice is shaking, telling Peter, “Don’t let her go, don’t let her go…” then the camera pans over to Peter. His mom continues, “Bring her home to us.” Who could she be referring to exactly?
It’s important to know during this clip, Peter doesn’t have his rose ceremony suit on. Reality Steve suspects that this scene must have happened when Peter’s parents get to meet the final two women.
Another note to add, Peter’s family does make another appearance in the season. This is during his first one-on-one date with Madison. The two attend his parent’s wedding vow renewal. However, Peter’s mother’s breakdown didn’t happen then.
It’s speculated that this incident happened when she met the final two in Australia, or it was filmed post-show. At this time, it’s not apparent.
The Season’s Preview Teaser Ends
After all the above-said clips are finished, viewers are brought back to the final rose ceremony scene with Peter standing and looking at the ring that’s in his hand. There’s a voiceover of him saying, “When I love someone, I don’t care how hard it looks, I will never surrender. Because I do believe lobe conquers all.”
The season preview ends there and the season officially begins!
All About Peter
After four-to-five minutes of the season preview, we then get an introduction about Peter while he’s on a plane. Following the introduction, there’s a recap shown about his time on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, him talking to his parents, and him walking through the airport in his pilot outfit while taking pictures with his fans.
Seven Women Get Introduction Videos
In this season of The Bachelor, seven women get introduction videos and fans get to know a little more about who will be competing for Peter’s love. In order, these include Alexa Caves, Hannah Ann Sluss, Tammy Ly, Victoria Paul, Kelley Flanagan, Madison Prewett, and Maurissa Gunn.
Following their respective introduction and backstory videos, we see the other contestants exit the limo in the following order: Alayah, Sydney, Hannah Ann, Sarah, Lauren, Victoria P, Mykenna, Maurissa, Kelsey, Eunice, Jade, Megan, Madison, Tammy, Shiann, Courtney, Kiarra, Lexi, Deandra, Payton, Jasmine, Kylie, Katrina, Victoria F, Jenna, Savannah, Kelley, Alexa, Avonlea, and Natasha.
Hannah Brown’s Return
During Dancing With the Stars finale, fans got to see a teaser clip of Brown’s return to The Bachelor – but nobody knew when she would be returning – until now.
After the new girls walked into the mansion, Brown comes out last in her own limo, and she gives him back the angel wings he gave her during his limo entrance. She then tells him that he needs to find his co-pilot this season. Surprisingly, Brown doesn’t join the other girls during the cocktail party.
Fans can tell that Brown’s sudden appearance flusters Peter quite a bit.
Peter then makes his way to the cocktail party and after mingling a bit, he gives a toast inside and tells the women that although some of them saw Brown outside, he confirmed to them that she’s just a friend and she came to give him his wings back. However, while giving out this speech, there’s a crack in his voice – a sign of him choking up about Brown.
What’s Next?
There will be plenty of pilot, flying, and windmill jokes in the first episode of The Bachelor, but this season of the series will be one to remember. We’re only two-and-a-half months away from the finale, and Fame10 will update you throughout the show with more weekly spoilers!
The Bachelor premieres on January 6, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
