After one of the most dramatic Bachelor finales ever, season 22’s Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are now married!

The Bachelor due were wed at Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii on Saturday, January 12, 10 months after their engagement on The Bachelor‘s After the Final Rose special. Fans will remember that controversy ensued on Arie’s season when he proposed to Becca Kufrin in the season finale only to break up with her shortly afterward, on TV, so that he could pursue a relationship with Burnham.

Back in November, only a few months after their dramatic engagement, Arie, 37, and Burnham, 27, announced they were expecting their first child together, and later revealed they are having a baby girl.

The duo exchanged vows in front of 100 guests including fellow Bachelor couple Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici while Bachelor nation host Chris Harrison officiated the ceremony.

The couple jetted to Hawaii a few days before the wedding for laid-back festivities that included a helicopter tour of the islands and a rehearsal dinner on a sunset cruise the night before the nuptials.

One of the most adorable highlights from the big day was Burnham’s grandparents serving as the flower girl and ring bearer. “The biggest laughs during the ceremony were for the flower girl and ring bearer,” an inside told PEOPLE. “Her grandmother was throwing the flowers first down the aisle, but then onto the guests. She was so cute and really connected with everyone.”

“Love is not always perfect,” Luyendyk said back in March. “Everyone finds each other in a different way. It’s not always a fairy tale, but as long as Lauren and I have each other, we’re happy.”
