Tyler Baltierra Posts Emotional Message After Episode Reveals Catelynn’s Miscarriage

The current season of Teen Mom OG has been incredibly emotional for Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra. The beloved couple decided it was finally time to expand their family, and fans watched as Catelynn excitedly told Tyler they were expecting again, and the pair told their families.
Of course, fans have been confused because while the series was filmed a few months ago, they know that currently Catelynn went through her third round of mental health treatment in Arizona, and there has been no mention of a baby. While reports indicated the pair had lost the baby in a miscarriage, the Monday, February 26 episode of the series confirmed the sad news.
After the episode aired, Tyler took to his Twitter to share an emotional message, writing, “That baby may not have been fully grown in the womb… but it was fully grown in our hearts. For every parent out there who has lost a baby…it is not your fault & it is more than acceptable & understandable to mourn the loss of that baby & take time to grieve #ParentStrong.”
Meanwhile, in the episode, it was Tyler who confirmed Catelynn had suffered a miscarriage as he told their producer Kerthy, “It’s very traumatic. When you see her shaking and she’s got blood everywhere, it’s like … you don’t really know what to do.” When she asked, “What did you do?” Tyler responded, “She kind of cleaned herself up, and we kind of figured out what was going on. Spotting is normal, but all the clotting is not. So we just saw on the bed and cried. We just held each other. There’s nothing you can really do.”
Later in the episode, Catelynn admitted that if it weren’t for her kids and Tyler, she wouldn’t be able to cope. “If they weren’t around I probably would’ve offed myself. Seriously. I’m sure a lot of people can relate,” Catelynn said. “It’s like I don’t want to live another day like this.”
While Catelynn attempted to combat her depression and anxiety, it eventually became too much and together she and Tyler decided she should head to treatment in Arizona right away. On the way to the airport, Catelynn talked to Tyler’s mom about what was happening and said, “I contemplated every single way that I could kill myself today.”
After the episode, Catelynn then revealed that she had returned home after her treatment stay, as she shared a photo of herself with Tyler and wrote, “Finally home and it feels so good!”
