Bachelor’s Lauren Bushnell Is Expecting First Child With Husband Chris Lane

Surprise! Bachelor alum Lauren Bushnell and country singer Chris Lane are expecting their first child.
Bushnell and Lane announced that they are expecting on Instagram on Sunday, December 6th. Bushnell shared an Instagram video of her baby’s ultrasound alongside the caption, “A dream. Except I’m not dreaming. I’m wide awake.”
She continued, “Holding your dads hand, watching you dance around in my belly. Listening to your little heart beat. My new favorite sound. A miracle. New life. Our sweet baby. Thank you Jesus! All the glory belongs to You.”
Bushnell also shared the same video to her story where she opened up a little more about her pregnancy journey. “As excited as we are, for me, it was sometimes hard to see posts like this. For those on their own journey to get pregnant, I’m thinking of you. Thank you for all the love.”
Lane shared the same video to his own Instagram, writing in the caption, “Prayer works! Hope you look like your Mama.”
Bushnell and Lane were first linked in 2018 and the country star proposed a year later in his “Big, Big Plans” music video. The couple officially tied the knot in Nashville in October 2019.
Bachelor fans will likely remember Bushnell from Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor. Bushnell was previously engaged to Higgins after competing on season 20 of the reality dating competition series.
