Jennifer Lawrence Talks Red Carpet Jitters Ahead of Golden Globes

Jennifer begins to feel the jitters as soon as she steps onto the red carpet for shows like the Golden Globes and Oscars, and she’s completely candid in discussing it. She is quick to let everyone know that she has tripped over her gowns and shoes more than just once when walking to and from venues, and of course, up the stairs onto the stage. Her trip last year at the Oscars was quite possibly one of the most charming moments of the starlets career… thus far.
It’s pretty amazing to think about Lawrence’s rapid rise to fame. It was only a few short years ago that the relative unknown was lost in the Ozarks, filming what would become her calling card, Winter’s Bone. When speaking about her red carpet and awards show jitters, Jennifer was quick to admit that she can be a bit of a potty mouth when she gets nervous in such situations. It probably has a lot to do being raised with several brothers, as well as being raised by a mother who suggested candor over artificial refinement.
Jennifer is slated to present at Sunday night’s Golden Globe ceremony, while also being nominated for an award in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in American Hustle.
